WCAG 2

Software development patterns | adopt

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2 are a set of recommendations prepared by W3C on how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. It is divided into three conformance levels: A, AA, and AAA. The higher the level, the more demanding criteria it contains. ‘A’ is the minimum level of accessibility that should be met by all websites and apps, otherwise, it is impossible for at least one group to access the content.

At Kiwee, we became more aware of web accessibility when we were refactoring our own website. Since then, we try to apply the best accessibility practices in all of our projects. In order to do that, we test websites for accessibility using two kinds of tools that implement the WCAG 2 standards
